Can I upload my existing contact list?
Yes. Existing contacts can be imported and combined with the contacts we generate, provided you have a lawful basis for using them.
Supported formats
CSV and Excel files, plus direct import from Mailchimp, HubSpot, MailerLite and SendX. If your data lives somewhere else, send it as a CSV and it will import.
What happens to your data on import
Contacts are cleaned and verified, then deduplicated against the contacts we generate for you so nobody receives two approaches. Hard bounces and invalid addresses are removed before any sending begins.
Anyone on the global suppression list is excluded automatically, including people who opted out through a different client's campaign.
The lawful basis question
You need a lawful basis for contacting the people you upload. If a list was bought from a broker, or scraped without any relevance assessment, it should not be used. Old lists also tend to bounce heavily, which damages the sending domain.
If you are unsure about a particular list, ask before uploading it.
